Caçabrava Sporting Estate Shoot Day Itinerary
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, we leave by coach for the short journey to the Caçabrava sporting estate. There, after a welcoming coffee, we will introduce you to our host for the day, João Ferreira. João will talk you through the day and invite you to draw your peg numbers and choose from a selection of cartridges for your own use. Your companion loader will take care of the hard work while accompanying you to your peg.
During the first drive we will introduce you to the first class sporting birds, “the Portuguese wild partridge”, a challenging, highflying bird and a great test for any gun. Moving pegs will allow you to experience new surroundings where you will continue to enjoy another excellent drive.
Time for our mid-shoot break where we take time out to enjoy some traditional fare and get refreshed before the next drive.
Two more drives will finish the 650 bird shooting day, we should at this point tell you that we don’t have a bag limit and many more birds will fly over your peg. We want you to enjoy one of the best days shooting you will ever have so we will present to you and the team upwards of 1000 birds on the day, with no bag limit and no extra cost to you and the team. Iberian Game is committed to providing you with an outstanding day of sporting birds.
Back at the Caçabrava lodge you can now relax with a pre-dinner drink, chat and look forward to our hospitality. The shoot dinner will be plentiful and will delight any connoisseur of good food and wine.
Only when you are ready will we take you back to your hotel, where you can continue to enjoy the atmosphere of the hotel surroundings or take a stroll along the river Nabão that runs through Tomar city taking in the warm lighting that displays the Convent de Cristo.
In the morning, after breakfast, your coach will leave for the 1 hour and 10 minute return journey to Lisbon airport.
Each guest will be given a printed itinerary card with hotel breakfast and dinner times to help your day run smoothly.
